A beautiful story that turned out for the best. I have shared a similair pain as our daughter was diagnosed with a strange disease and spent quite a bit of time in the Mayo Clinic. That was many years ago but she is now married with two children.

Bubba Stewart is the best. I think this next race in Vegas, Chad Reed's partner is going to try to take him out. Watch out Bubba, its the only way he can beat you!

What an awesome website! I will never forget the day that Hailey was shot. My pager went off stating that a little girl had been shot and my heart sank to my knees. I was shocked when I got to the house and she was talking and telling me what had happened. She is the bravest little girl I've ever met! God blessed you all! Jenny

Your story was forwarded to me. I wanted to thank you for sharing your story, it is always so nice to hear back from families. I thought you would like to know how very brave Haley was during her flight. She talked to us the whole time. She was awesome. It can be very overwhelming to be in the helicopter and then in a trauma room with lots of people. She stayed so calm. You would have been very proud.

Hello Torkelson family! Roxanne, thanks for directing us to your webpage. My wife and I read Haley's story with great interest. We are grateful that God intervened in that situation and performed a miracle. Obviously, God has special plans for Haley and your family...including your witness to his handiwork through your website. We look forward to meeting you all in the near future. Take care!

Hey Steve. Haley's story was absolutely amazing and touching. I can't imagine how you and Roxanne must have felt upon hearing the news. I am happy that Haley is doing well. Haley sounds to be an extraordinary person. You seem to be a wonderful father and to have a very loving family. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.
